To find out the maximum number of users per hour and the average session duration, please follow the steps below.

  • Login to GA4 
  • Go to Explore from the left menu
  • On the left menu on Variables column, add: 
    • DIMENSIONS
      • Hour
      • Date
    • METRICS
      • Active users
      • Average session duration
  • On the left menu on Settings column, add:
    • ROWS
      • Hour
      • Date
    • VALUES
      • Active users
      • Average session duration

The final report will look like this, and the values are as follows:

  • Maximum number of users per hour: 32

  • Average session duration: 2m 56s (or 176 seconds)
